ASpots are built selecting from three variations that describe alignment:
By default, these variations will result in simple text overlays.
Different stylized implementations are achieved using utility Classes. The white text in the example above is achieved by adding color-white to the ASpot Classes to override the default grey text color. Any of our site colors can be used via Classes following the color-colorName syntax.
Our boxed text design for ASpots is also implemented via Classes.
It is achieved by using the Content Left variation and adding the classes boxed boxed-colorName.
Supported colorNames can be found here. Just remove the $.
The following example brings together text color and stylized boxing. It’s classes are boxed boxed-blue80 color-blue5.
Lastly, ASpots are built to be slider-capable, but smart enough to be stationary if only one slide is added. Therefore, add background media via the Slides block in Storyblok and feel confident that the module will interpret whether or not to build itself as a slider or as a stationary block of content.
For background images, the system will use ‘smart’ cropping to crop images to 1400 x 700. This means if a crop is necessary, it will attempt to recognize image focal points and crop towards those as needed (https://bit.ly/2G58LUH).
