Use this step-by-step study plan to prepare for the WELL AP® exam in 30 sessions.

Overview

Use this step-by-step study plan to prepare for the WELL AP® exam in 30 sessions. You can complete the plan in one month or space out your study sessions over a longer period of time. Most study sessions will take between 60-90 minutes to complete, depending on your own pace, knowledge and familiarity with the WELL Building Standard. You can prepare on your own, or organize a study group.

This detailed 30-session study plan acts a complement to the WELL AP Exam Preparation Guide and WELL AP Practice Tests with Exam Simulator. You’ll need to purchase both resources to get started. Each study session includes recommended readings and links to resources. Set yourself up for success by scheduling your study sessions in advance. Find yourself a space that best supports your learning and take short breaks to stretch, hydrate, refuel and refocus.

This resource is accessible by everyone for free.

Sessions

Assignment:

  • Register for the WELL AP Exam
    • Create a WELL Online account
    • Click on the link provided in the email from IWBI to be directed to the login page
    • Select “sign-in” to login and change your password
    • Select “register for exam”
    • Complete the exam registration form and select “continue & pay”
    • Submit payment and follow the instructions to schedule your test date through Prometric

Prior to Exam Day

  • Prepare for exam day by reviewing pages 1-9 of the WELL AP® Exam Preparation Guide (9 pages)
  • Confirm that the date, time and location of your exam is correct. If it is not, visit your WELL Online account for information on rescheduling your exam
  • Be prepared to provide appropriate identification. Read page 7 of the WELL AP® Candidate Handbook to learn more about identification requirements.
  • Arrive at the test center 30 minutes prior to your scheduled exam appointment. Should you arrive to the test center late, you will lose your seat

After the Exam

  • As soon as you have passed the WELL AP® exam, you can use the title “WELL AP” and/or logo
  • Be sure to make your WELL Online account public, update your company and LinkedIn bios, email signatures and business cards to include your WELL AP status
  • Once your exam results have been processed, you can download your certificate through your WELL Online account
