Julie Skodowski’s contribution to the International WELL Building Institute draws upon her multi-disciplinary applied health experience with a large health care system in southeastern Wisconsin. Julie works cross-functionally with various stakeholders and serves as a subject matter expert to support projects related to WELL education and the WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP™). Prior to joining IWBI, Julie actively contributed to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission as an executive committee member and head running coach. Part of her role included maintaining an endurance training and fundraising program, in addition to providing coaching support for national fundraising events such as the Nike Women’s Marathons in Washington, DC and San Francisco. Julie enjoys spending time with visionaries and inspiring them with her passion for projects and causes that benefit humanity, as well as the environment and human health. Julie studied Registered Nursing at Alverno College, is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability Management from the University of Wisconsin and holds a LEED Green Associate credential.
