Melissa Wrolstad’s role at the International WELL Building Institute leverages her extensive experience in the sustainability industry. Melissa works to support IWBI’s mission by leveraging her breadth of building certifications technical expertise to provide technical support to project teams through WELL coaching. Melissa is also the resident expert on the LEED Crosswalk tool and co-runs the All Projects In program. Most recently Melissa worked as Associate Director at CodeGreen Solutions running the sustainable building certifications team, which primarily manages building certifications in LEED BD+C / ID+C / EB:OM, WELL, and Enterprise Green Communities. The team also worked with clients on assessing the possibility of pursuing Passive House, Living Building Challenge, Fitwel and BREEAM. Previous to her position at CodeGreen, Melissa worked at e4, inc. where she served as LEED Project Administrator on a variety of notable projects including the Brooklyn Arena. Before this, Melissa worked as a water engineer at Woodard and Curran. Melissa completed her undergraduate work at Cornell University College of Engineering where she designed her major to focus on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. She then completed a Masters of Systems Engineering at Cornell University. Melissa has also received Reiki I / II / Masters training.
