International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI) is a public benefit corporation with a mission to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. IWBI administers the WELL Building Standard® (WELL), the world’s first building standard focused exclusively on human health and wellness. The WELL building certification program is an evidence-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring the performance of building features and other aspects of the built environments that impact the health and well-being of the people in the spaces we create.

Robert has years of experience in healthy and green building consultancy in Asia. Prior to joining IWBI, Robert has had a solid background in business development in the industry. He was among the first group of professionals to become a WELL AP in China, playing a pivotal role to pioneer WELL for influential clients amidst enormous market potentials.

His project experience spans across new and existing facilities, ranging from high-end offices, corporate headquarters, showrooms, retail stores, hotels, high-density residential to industrial campuses. He has had a track record of bringing together experts from diverse professional specializations to successfully secure major projects, incorporating services such as strategic planning, microclimate study, system design and performance analysis. Some of his notable ongoing client relationships include those with Swire, Shougang, Guocoland and Sino-Ocean Group.

At IWBI, Robert is primarily dedicated to serving clients across East Asia covering Eastern China, Taiwan and Japan. He is responsible for fostering strong business relationships by guiding clients to understand the powerful value proposition of WELL and by ensuring every project gains the necessary support to maximize the benefits. Robert has a passion to inspire better buildings that improve immediate and perpetual human health outcomes in the built environments.
