From all of us at the International WELL Building Institute, we want to extend our gratitude to the exceptional community that helped make WELL v2 what it is today. The creation of WELL v2 was a journey, and we are immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished.

And we hope you are too. Because honestly, we couldn’t have done this without you.

Bringing WELL v2 to fruition was a journey, and our commitment to listening and learning from our community was a central theme at every step. After reflecting on all that we heard along the way and after many (many) drafts, we shared the new WELL v2 feature set with over 250 customers, clients, experts, and advocates who represented over 190 organizations in a dozen countries and made further adjustments to the features, program and digital platform before WELL v2 pilot was released in May of 2018. WELL v2 reflects what we’ve heard from you: the need for a simple, agile, customizable, global and powerful vehicle to advance human health through buildings.

Those who contributed to the development of WELL v2 represent an exceptionally diverse community of experts: real estate leaders, architects, interior designers, sustainability consultants, academic researchers, practitioners, human resource professionals and many more. Your insights were instrumental in the development process. You changed our minds; you gave us new ideas; you poked holes in some of our plans; you championed our vision and aggressively supported what we were trying to do.

For all of that, we want to thank you. We know that we still have a lot more to learn and explore alongside the market and we look forward to continuing to advance our shared vision for healthy spaces, together.
