WELL AP of the year

Ken Fong

Director of Human-Centered Design, E-LAB Consulting

Ken Fong leads the Human-Centred Design discipline at E-LAB Consulting, where he and his team apply an evidence-based approach to designing spaces that optimize human health and wellbeing. Their work integrates principles of Healthy Buildings, Organizational Health and Wellbeing, and human-centered data to create environments that support both individual and organizational performance.

Previously, Ken served as the Healthy Buildings Lead for an Australian workplace ranked among the world’s Top 10 Best Workplaces by the prestigious Leesman Index. He is based in Melbourne, Australia, where he lives with his wife and two children, aged 11 and 6.

WELL legacy award

Tracy Backus

Tracy Backus has spent over 25 years at Teknion championing sustainability, workplace well-being and the connection between the built environment and human health. A WELL AP, WELL Faculty, and former Director of Sustainable Programs, she has been a driving force in WELL and LEED strategies, educating industry leaders and shaping a more sustainable future. Her passion for strategic thinking, environmental advocacy and healthy design has left a lasting impact, making her a deserving recipient of the first ever WELL Legacy Award.

Educator of the year

Khee Poh Lam

Professor, National University of Singapore

Khee Poh Lam is an educator, researcher, and architect specializing in building performance and computational design. He has consulted on award-winning green projects in Singapore, China, and the U.S., and has been recognized with the Alexander Schwarzkopf Prize, an IBM Faculty Award, and the iBuildSG LEAD Distinguished Fellowship.

Rachel Vig

Founder, Sada Learn

Rachel Vig (WELL AP, WELL Faculty) is growing WELL market awareness across the healthcare and education sectors in EMEA, with a particular focus on Qatar. As founder of Sada and Sada Learn, she leads a global design and education practice dedicated to advancing human well-being through health, inclusivity, and sustainability. She is organizing a higher education roundtable in Education City, Doha, in February 2026, convening 12+ satellite universities through an existing client relationship, and delivered a highly regarded WELL AP training in London following the flagship WELL Summit.
